The B26 was a commission project for the 386th Bomb Group "Son of Satan" crew. It was just luck...being at the right place at the right time that I received the honor of illustrating this aircraft. I was presenting my portfolio, pitching an advertising campagin to a whole sale furniture company owner at the World Trade Center Dallas when he noticed copies of my other aircraft illustrations. He just happened to be the co-pilot of the "Son of Satan", and the crew were putting together a reunion within a next few months. The crew donated the original art work to the Colorado Air Force Academy.
